The Origins of ArchInvest

The origins of the group trace back to Espace Jacqmotte in Brussels, where architect Michel Jaspers founded Jaspers & Partners in 1960. The firm grew into one of Belgium’s leading architectural practices, delivering landmark projects such as Brussels Airport, the Finance Tower, the Egmont complex, and the Wijnegem Shopping Center, as well as major international developments.

In 2001, the practice was taken over by Jean-Michel Jaspers and renamed Jaspers-Eyers Partners. He further strengthened its international reputation through projects including Barco, the Embassy of Belgium in Japan, the Warsaw Tower in Poland, Nongfu Spring in China, and the European Parliament, among others. Together, Michel and Jean-Michel Jaspers have realised more than 40 million m² of built projects and received eight MIPIM Awards.

Building on this heritage, Michel Jaspers founded Archinvest in 1991 as a family-owned real estate investment company. Since 2007, Laurent Jaspers, CEO, has continued to expand the company’s portfolio while building on the family’s experience in architecture and real estate. As a family-owned company, Michel, Jean-Michel and Philippe Jaspers remain closely involved in its long-term vision.

Archinvest focuses on high-quality office buildings in triple A locations, designed to offer exceptional working environments with strong attention to architecture, location, service, and the environmental aspect of each office building, including terraces and/or gardens.

Alongside its office investments, the company holds a diversified retail portfolio across Belgium, typically occupied by DIY retailers, supermarkets and equipment rental operators.

In addition, Archinvest holds a residential portfolio of lofts and apartments located in the heart of Brussels and across Belgium, forming part of a diversified long-term investment strategy.
